What is World Cup Qualifiers?

Six Continental Zones of FIFA World Cup Qualifiers

In this year 2018, the FIFA World Cup qualifiers will play this match from the date 14th of June to 15th of July. And the qualifying matches are going to be held within the six continental zones of FIFA:

  • North and Central America and the Caribbean

  • Oceania
  • Europe

The first team from Conmebol to take place at the 2018 FIFA World Cup which is going to be held in Russia was Brazil. Switzerland will face five times winner of FIFA World Cup that is with Brazil in the first group E along with the World Cup qualifiers countries Costa Rica and Serbia.

 

World Cup Qualifiers Procedure

The above given six continental zones are organized by their individual confederation for each tournament it is being decided by FIFA about the number of place in the finals given to each of the continental zones which are based on the relative strength of confederation teams. Among the World Cup qualifiers the top two groups that is, the top two teams will advance to the round of 16. From 32 teams, about 20 teams from FIFA World Cup 2018 groups will be going to create back to back presentation. The winner of the FIFA World Cup 2018 will qualify the 2021 FIFA Confederation Cup.

 

The team of 2018 World Cup qualifiers will be automatically hosted by Russia which consists of 8 groups. The section of Europe of the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers to be held in Russia for the national teams which are the members of UEFA ( UNION OF EUROPEAN FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION).

The game will be played in 12 different venues located in different 11 cities. The final will take place on date 15th of July at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow and whoever will win the 2018 FIFA World Cup will move towards 2021 FIFA Confederations Cup. The Confederation of African football’s competition offers five berths at the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia.

The 2018 FUFA World Cup is all set to commence in next month of June. Belgium, England, Spain, Germany and Brazil are among the teams who have qualified for the FIFA World Cup 2018.
